Experts predict boom in construction of budget hotels in Ukraine

Dejan Djordjevic, the Managing Director of the hospitality business of the
ESTA Group, the largest Ukrainian industrial holding, has said that the number of five-star hotels in Kiev has reached its maximum and that construction companies should build lower-class properties, according to
building.ua.
Djordjevic noted that an increasing number of budget-conscious tourists will visit Ukraine in the next few years.
Daniel Bilak, the Head of the Property Practice Group of the Kiev branch
of CMS Cameron McKenna, a provider of legal and tax services, with its headquarters in the UK, has said that three-star hotels will be more popular than any others in Ukraine in the near future, as they will be able to satisfy both domestic and external demand for cheap hotels.
At the same time, experts have claimed that land for hotel construction in Ukraine is too expensive.
