Average cost of apartment construction approved

The Ukrainian Ministry of Regional Development and Construction has approved the average cost of the construction of one square metre of housing units in Ukraine in 2010 at around €404.8.
The highest construction cost, of €456 per m², was approved for Kiev. In the provinces the construction of apartments will be the most expensive in Sevastopol (€437 per m²) and Crimea (€426 per m²), whereas the lowest cost will be seen in Kirovograd (€365 per m²), Lugansk (€371 per m²) and Ivano-Frankovsk (€373 per m²) provinces.
At present, the average overall cost of apartment construction in Ukraine is €368 per m², and that in Kiev is €414 per m².
