The American company
IMTC MEI has prevailed in the tender for the construction of a new airport passenger terminal in Lviv. It offered to pay €0.4m for building rights, whereas the starting price was €82,000.
An investment contract with IMTC MEI is to be signed within two weeks. This stipulates that the company is obliged to invest more than €82m in the construction of the terminal, which must be completed in the time required by the UEFA. The estimated completion date is August 2011. Three months before the deadline for the terminal’s construction, the government authorities will sign a contract, handing over the management of the airport complex to the company for a period of 30 years.
The Polish company
ABM Wschod was another of the bidders at the auction.
