Four hotels to open in Kiev in 2010

Four hotels with 535 rooms in total are due to be put into operation in Kiev in 2010: these include the five-star Fairmont Hotel Kiev,
with 257 rooms, and two four-star hotels, the Kolizey,
with 30 rooms, and the Staro, with 35 rooms. In addition, there are plans to open a three-star IBIS
hotel complex with 213 rooms.
Thirty seven hotels with 7,388 rooms in total are due to open in 2011, whereas in 2009 only four new hotels were launched. Forty one hotels with 7,923 rooms are to be built in the city as part of the
preparations for Euro-2012. At present, there are 152 hotels with more than 10,000 rooms in the capital.
