K.A.N. Development begins construction of 54-floor building in Kiev

K.A.N. Development has begun construction work on a 54-floor hotel and office complex in Kiev which will become one of the tallest buildings in the capital.
The project is thought to be worth €198m and is expected to take 4.5 years to complete. It will take up 292,000 m² and will consist of two towers containing a hotel, office facilities and parking for 1,200 cars. The hotel section of the project is expected to be completed by 2012 in time for the Euro-2012 European football championship.
K.A.N. Development was founded in 2001. The company’s implemented projects include the Parkove Misto residential complex, the Dominant business centre and the Arena Entertainment complex, all in Kiev.
Russian Construction Review reported recently that in April 2010 the company intends to begin the construction of the Lybid Plaza retail and recreation centre, also in the capital.
