Lvov airport construction could go to ABM Wschod
2010-03-08
The Ukrainian aviation authorities might sign an investment contract with the Polish company
ABM Wschod to build a new passenger terminal at Lvov Airport. The company was the second bidder in a tender which was won by the American company
IMTC MEI in November 2009, but the latter has not, so far, signed the contract.
The contract stipulates that investment in excess of €90m in the project is required for the terminal to be completed by September 2011, the deadline specified by the UEFA prior to the Euro-2012 football championship. Upon completion the investor will take over the management of the airport for 30 years.
