HP abandons construction plans in Ukraine

The American computer manufacturer Hewlett-Packard (HP) has abandoned plans to build its own resource centre for Central and Eastern Europe and Central Asia in Lvov, in Ukraine. According to the city Mayor’s office, the company blames difficulties with tax regulations in the country as the reason for its withdrawal from the project.
