Official Opening of the Bridge Crossing at Kahovka Hydropower Plant. |

|
President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko opened the bridge crossing at the Kahovka Hydropower Plant. The bridge is a part of Kahovka dam highway M14. The bridge reconstruction cost 40M UAH. The project was accomplished a year before schedule. In his speech Mr. Yushchenko told that the government wants Ukraine be benefited from highways infrastructure development. There will be seven billion UAH budget for highways construction. $40% of this budget will be spent on reconstruction of the highways in rural area. Big portion of the budget will be used for reconstruction of about five hundred aged bridges. |
